Painting your hallway? These are the most inviting colours!
You walk through your hallway multiple times a day without realising it all too well. You decorate your living room nicely, you give your kitchen a splash of colour, but you tend to lose sight of the hallway.
Yet the entrance hall is your home's calling card. It is therefore important that it matches the rest of your home in terms of atmosphere, style and colours. Rest assured, not everything has to be the same. You can certainly experiment or give your hall a totally different atmosphere from the rest of your home.
Revalue your hall with a lick of paint!
You don't have to do huge works to freshen up your hallway. A new colour can do wonders. Need some inspiration? We have already picked out some colours in which you can paint your hallway.
Greige
As you can deduce from the word, greige is a combination of grey and beige. Neutral shades are always perfect: they make the room look bigger and create a lot of atmosphere and warmth.
Combine greige shades with white accessories and a unique eye-catching element such as a rug or printed tiles. We recommend not to combine too bright colours with greige. This is because the colour exudes a calm atmosphere and clashes with colours that are too striking. However, pastel colours and brown tones are always welcome with greige!
Additional tip: Is your hall only a small space? A mirror on the wall can make a narrow hallway look optically larger. In addition, you can also paint the ceiling the same shade as the rest of the room. This will create calmness and also make your hall appear optically larger.
