How much paint do I need to paint a wall or ceiling?
Most wall and ceiling paints have a usage of 10m² per litre. That means you will be able to cover about 10m² with 1l.
Keep in mind that a paint will only fully cover in a two-coat system. This means if you need to paint a surface 10m² in size, you will actually have to double the paint. So for 10m² in a two-coat system, you basically need 2l of paint.
In addition, it is always recommended to look at the paint properties per product. This is because the efficiency of your paint may differ from this average. Finally, a lot also depends on what kind of substrate you want to paint. For example, some surfaces absorb more paint than others.
