Ho ho ho, high time for cosiness: 4 inspiring Christmas interiors
Now that the days are getting shorter again, we can totally get into the Christmas spirit. Christmas falls in the darkest period of the year, and that is when we like to make it extra cosy indoors. We would like to give you some inspiration for an original, cosy Christmas interior. With a lick of paint, of course!
Idea 1: the alternative Christmas tree
Get to work with pieces of wreckage or thick branches in different sizes and thicknesses, which you then paint in colours of your choice. Handy to use for this are leftover paints. But small pots of paint, such as Levis Expert Wood Lacquer Satin, or colour testers can also serve this purpose.

Idea 2: warm walls
Not only lights and decorations make it cosy during the Christmas period. A warm colour scheme in your interior can also add extra atmosphere. Idea 3: the original advent calendar
Don't have an advent calendar yet and still have to put up the Christmas tree? With this original 'tree' that also functions as an advent calendar, you kill two birds with one stone! What do you need? Wood and screws or sturdy, thick cardboard and glue for the shape, and board spray to finish it off. Another tip: if you work with board spray, cover the wide area around it well. You can do this easily with cover cardboard or masking film and tape.

Idea 4: the pallet bed
Who says pallet wood is reserved for summer? You can also use it indoors, and make a nice, budget-friendly bed with it, for example. For indoor pallet wood, you can use water-based paints such as Sikkens Rubbol BL Primer (which you apply two coats of) and Sikkens Rubbol BL Rezisto Satin (for one more finishing coat afterwards). You can opt for standard white, which looks a little cooler/fresher, or the warmer shade of white RAL 9010. Either way, this is guaranteed to suit your white-Christmas interior!
