 NEW COLOURS

New colours for Xyladecor Tuinhuis

Xyladecor's colour range has expanded since October 2024. Thus, the two most popular products Xyladecor Garden House and Xyladecor Garden House Color will gain new colours.

With the transparent stain Xyladecor Tuinhuis, the colour range is enriched with a Douglas fir shade. So you can always preserve the look of your garden house made of Douglas fir. So even if your Douglas fir garden building has aged a bit, you can breathe new life into it by staining the wood with a similar Douglas fir shade.

The Xyladecor Tuinhuis Color range is then joined by the two newcomers Lente knop and Wolkengrijs. Spring Bud is a greyish-green shade and Cloud Grey is a grey shade with blue undertones. Even with an opaque stain, the wood structure remains somewhat visible as you can see in the examples below.

Bio-based, water-based

You will see a Biobased icon on the new packaging of Xyladecor Terrasolie and Xyladecor Tuinhoutolie. They get that because they have an updated formula, using a binder with biobased ingredients. Since this means they contain a significant percentage of bio-based ingredients, they can display such an icon.

Bio-based materials are derived from renewable, natural resources such as plants and algae. They help reduce CO2 emissions compared to fossil fuels. The bio-based content of these products has been externally validated by TÜV and certified. That makes these products a (more) considerate choice for the environment.

Xyladecor Tuinhuis and Terrasbeits Antislip are now available water-based, making them an environmentally friendly upgrade to the well-known solvent-based stains.

The new formulas offer the same durable protection against weathering and UV rays. Both products also retain their intense colour and provide wood protection on the long-term, with the added benefit of being less harmful to the environment. Win win win!

If you have any questions or simply want to know more about these changes, you can of course always contact us, or find more elaborate information on Xyladecor's website.
