Hammerite Metaallak Zijdeglans is a decorative metal lacquer with DUALTECH technology, providing durable long-lasting weather protection due to its water-repellent and rust-repellent properties. Suitable for use on all types of metal indoors and outdoors, such as doors, garage doors, fencing, stairs and garden furniture. The product can be applied directly over rust without using a primer or primer, stops the rust process and gives up to 8 years of protection..
Hammerite Metaallak Zijdeglans can be applied directly to ferrous metals, if you have heavily pitted rust spots then for even more durable rust protection you can first pre-treat with Hammerite Nr. 1 Anitroest Primer. For non-ferrous metals (zinc, aluminium, galvanized metal, ...) it is best to pre-treat first with Hammerite Non Ferro Metaal Primer.
