Can I also use Sikkens Rubbol EPS indoors?

Although this paint was specially developed for exterior use, it can also be used indoors on well-ventilated wooden surfaces. Please note: because this paint is solvent-based, it needs light. If the surface you want to paint does not receive enough light, light colours such as white may yellow quickly. For indoor use, it is therefore better to choose a darker colour.

How many coats should I apply for the best result?

For the best result, we recommend applying at least two coats. Start with a thin first coat as a base and finish with a second coat for the perfect finish.

How to use

1. Preparation: Make sure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free. Remove any loose paint residue and lightly sand old layers for optimal adhesion.
   
2. Prime and paint: Rubbol EPS is used as a primer, intermediate coat and topcoat. Apply 2 coats, depending on the condition of the surface.
   
3. Choose the right tools: Preferably use a new brush such as the ProGold Classic Round 7520 or a paint roller for a smooth finish.
   
4. Ideal conditions: Apply at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C and avoid high humidity and bright sunlight.
   
5. Respect the drying time: Let each coat dry for at least 18 hours before continuing. Patience pays off — even in the world of paint.
