About RAL 9010
How white is RAL 9010?
RAL 9010 is a white shade from the RAL Classic Colours, and probably the most popular shade of white in paint. Though its name is Pure white, this colour actually is not 100% pure white. A slight amount of pigments is added to the all-white paint base. Pure white is in fact more of an off-white shade. Below you can see how RAL 9010 is mixed for you (video in Dutch):
The difference between RAL 9010, RAL 9001, RAL 9016, RAL 9003 (the most frequently ordered shades of white) and other white paint colours lies in the (limited) amount and combination of pigments added. If you're wodnering which white paint is the brightest, the answer is simple: the standard white variants offered by the paint manufacturer, as they contain no pigments at all. Those are truly and completely white!

Ideas with this colour:
RAL 9010 is especially popular for window frames and/or doors, or as a softer shade of white for walls and ceilings. As it is much less bright than standard 100% white, it easily adds a warmer feeling to the room. It could very well be the most popular shade of white in paint overall.
