Libéron Colour Gradient Paint 'Les Dégradés'
Les Dégradés' gradient paint is an amalgamation of 3 shades, from very light to very dark, or a combination of 3 matched colours. This paint is ideal for adding a personal touch to furniture, objects and woodwork without making mistakes, or for creating "tie and dye" effects.
Description
Colour gradient paint offers you a combination of three colours, from the softest to the brightest. An easy-to-use satin paint that allows you to add overflowing colours to your furniture, objects and woodwork.
Colour gradient paint, which does not require sanding or priming of the substrate, is resistant to everyday hazards (stains, impacts ...). This paint is easy to maintain and thus perfectly washable.
Instructions for use
Preparation:
Apply on a clean, dry and dust-free surface.
- On varnished, stained and painted wood, melamine and laminated boards: wash the surface (soda-based detergent), rinse and allow to dry. Polish with sandpaper grain 240 and remove dust.
- On untreated wood, MDF and OSB: polish with sandpaper grain 240 and remove the dust.
Application:
Mix thoroughly with a stick.
- COLOUR gradient option 1: Divide your surface into 3 parts. Using a Libéron smooth effect brush or a paint roller, apply one shade to each of the parts. When doing so, work horizontally and vertically, levelling in the same direction. Allow to dry for 6 hours. Apply a second coat. Let dry for 12 hours.
- COLOUR gradient option 2: Divide your furniture into 3 parts and then apply all the shades. While doing so, make sure you apply the middle shade in the middle. Leave to dry for 6 hours. Apply a second coat in the same way. Before the paint is completely dry, blend the colours using Libéron's Mohair Paint Pad. Apply one colour to one half of the pad and another colour to the other half. Then, when merging the shades, apply your pad with light pendulum strokes.
On large surfaces, apply the paint better with a paint roller. For optimal resistance, it is advisable not to stress your substrate for the first 20 days (shocks, stains ...).
