Libéron Glitter paint
Glitter paint embellishes your furniture, objects and woodwork with glitter. This paint has a matt texture and plays with light, reflecting fine glittering particles.
Description
A unique matt paint that leaves fine shimmering particles in every possible colour. You will absolutely love the pink, white, grey and black glitter paint to decorate all your wooden objects such as your frames.
Glitter paint, which does not require sanding or priming the surface, is resistant to everyday hazards (stains, shocks ...). This paint is easy to maintain and therefore perfectly washable.
Instructions for use
Preparation:
- On varnished, stained and painted wood, melamine and laminated boards: wash the surface (soda-based detergent), rinse and allow to dry. Polish with sandpaper grain 240 and remove dust.
- On raw wood, MDF and OSB: polish with sandpaper grain 240 and remove dust.
- On oak and chestnut wood: first apply Libéron Primer Anti-tanning Acid.
Application:
- Pour the bag of glitter, for example, into the white glitter paint and mix thoroughly with a stick. Be sure to also stir sufficiently against the edges of the pot. Let rest for 10 min.
- Apply the Glitter Paint with a Libéron smooth effect brush or a 5 mm paint roller. Work horizontally and vertically and level in the same direction.
Allow to dry for 6 hours.
- Apply a second coat following the same principle (without polishing between coats).
Allow to dry for 12 hours.
The glitter aspect comes out perfectly after you have applied the 2 layers of paint, and the paint is completely dry.
On large surfaces, it is better to apply the paint with a paint roller.
For optimal resistance, it is advisable not to stress your surface for the first 20 days (shocks, stains...).
